SADLY NO ESSEX DOG DAY IN 2022

We are very sorry to announce that we are unable to hold Essex Dog Day in 2022.  Many of our volunteers are unavailable due to other commitments and circumstances beyond their control which will make it very difficult to deliver the event that people would expect.  Wishing all of the Dogs in Essex a fun and happy summer.

Essex Dog Day is the county’s largest dog show event.  However, the wide range of activities, entertainment and huge children’s zone means that it is a fun day out for all the family. We have classes for every kind of dog from your pedigree poodles to your magnificent mongrels.  Our expert panel of judges are really put through their paces in our huge range of dog show classes.

Our shopping village gets larger every year and is full of shops selling everything your dog could want.  But it is not just the pooches that are catered for, with designer fashion, jewellery, charity stalls and much more available.  You don’t need to worry about packing a picnic as our large food market caters for every culinary taste.  We have everything on offer from chips, to ice cream, vegetarian to hog roast and everything in between.

There is also the New Hall School Childrens’ arena, with plenty of extra dog show classes and activities for the little people in your family.  With classes for those aged up to 15, there is something for all your children to enjoy.  Our kid’s zone also features a huge variety of rides and entertainment.  Whether your child is a wannabe rock climber or just wants a nice gentle ride in the teacups, we have something that everyone can enjoy.
