Welcome to Essex Dog Day!

Not long to go until the gates open for this year's Essex Dog Day!

We have so much planned to make this year even bigger and better than ever.  Demonstrations this year include:

  • David Seamark and his sheepdog display
  • The Sandon Police Dog Unit will be delighting the crowds with their action packed police chase
  • Jemima Parry Jones will be bringing along some of her raptors to thrill as they swoop and dive

Plus we have the following fun activities for you and the family to enjoy:

  • Fun dog show classes
  • Breed advisors
  • Dog competitions including the dog scurry and agility ring
  • Tons of trade stands and shopping
  • Massive food court serving everything from afternoon tea to ice cream
  • Kids entertainment park including inflatable wipe out, zorbs, kartz, donkey rides and more

Thank you to all of you who came to watch the spectacular displays, enter your dogs in the classes and competitions, enjoy the varied food and browse the stalls. More details are on the 2015 Show Report and the Photo Gallery pages

A huge thank you also to out sponsors listed on the Sponsors page.

Together you made it possible for us to raise £63,600 in 2015 which brings the total raised in five years to £287,000.  All proceeds from the event are distributed to local charities via the Essex Community Foundation.

If you haven't been before, check out the About Essex Dog Day page. See you there this year!
